If you’re free tomorrow evening…

My cousin and I will be performing. :) Come early, because I heard tickets sold out quickly.

March 17th, 7:30-10:30
Ethnic Culture Theater
3940 Brooklyn Ave NE
Seattle, WA

On March 17th the students of CHID 250: Hip-Hop in the 206 of the University of Washington will be hosting a showcase of their collective talents and creativity. Acts will include spoken word, slam poetry and hip hop artists, breakdancers, and DJs as well as a gallery of student graffiti pieces produced throughout the quarter.

The event costs $4 at the door with the option of purchasing a $1 raffle ticket. ALL proceeds of the show will go to benefit the UmojaFest P.E.A.C.E. Center, a multi-purpose youth centered cultural facility in the heart of Seattle’s historic Central District.

Additional raffle tickets will be given to generous donators and supporters of local clothing companies which will be selling their products at the event. Items being raffled off include a Nike basketball autographed by the University of Washington men’s basketball team, other autographed memorobilia from local hip-hop artists and dancers, and much more!
