Riding the bus.

I like to observe. I’m a people-watcher. On the bus rides home, I take a look at everyone within my sight range, and play this mental game with myself. I like to imagine what their lives are like when they’re not riding the bus to their destination. I wonder if they’re secretly struggling with issues, yet they don’t want to burden others with their dilemmas. I wonder about their hobbies and try to base my assumptions off of whatever they’re doing - reading a book for example - or by what they’re holding. It’s weird I know; but I find it enjoyable to create these personalities of individuals who ride the same bus with me daily - whether or not it befits them.

But what do I know? After all, I’m just another rider on the metro.
